Leading up to their day, the weather forecast was calling for rain — always the biggest bummer ever. BUT, we were so fortunate because the rain held off for all of our portraits. We had a little bit of mist, but it actually ended up being really amazing because there was snow still left on the ground and it was foggy for Alyssa & Charles’ portraits together. Alyssa’s gown had sleeves and the details on the back of her dress were so beautiful (did you see her bridal session?!). All this to say, all the elements added up to a stunning winter wedding. And these two deserved it! Like I said, the kindest and most grateful people.
Because of the mist, they decided to have their ceremony indoors and it was just so cozy. The Cloth Mill was the perfect venue for it. Susan with Specialties Floral & Events created the most amazing asymmetrical floral installation for the altar. You have to come see it! I watched Susan put it up before the ceremony and knew it was going to be a show-stopper. Surrounded by their friends and family, Alyssa & Charles said their vows and I truly felt the warmth of the community that surrounded them. Alyssa & Charles, thank you for choosing me to photograph your Cloth Mill wedding! You two deserve all the happiness in the world.
