One of those talented photographers, Megan Kerns, and I traveled over to Castle McCulloch in Greensboro to capture these for Bethany. It was fun to spend an afternoon road tripping with her and getting in some good girl time. Plus we got to see Bethany’s stunning gown (it has pockets people!!!), and get a tour of her really unique venue!
This space is truly different from anything I’ve ever seen. First off, it’s a castle! Yes, a castle! Complete with a moat and faux draw bridge! It’s actually the spot where Bethany & Aaron first met, which is why they chose it for their venue! Isn’t that the sweetest? It’s set back in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle of life, and honestly you’d have no idea it was there if you weren’t looking for it!
Bethany, thank you so much for letting me still be a part of your day, even if I couldn’t be there in person! I loved capturing these for you, and wish I could have seen the look on Aaron’s face when he saw you in person! I’m sure it was priceless! Congrats on your wedding! Enjoy every second of this time as newlyweds! I can’t wait to go through your photos and see for myself all the fun I missed at your celebration!
