I met Nathan at a local park, and we hung out and got set up for their first look. First looks are always some of my favorite moments to capture as a wedding photographer. There is so much anticipation and excitement, and it just makes my photographer heart giddy to see a bride and groom have this moment together. Right as Danae was going to walk up to meet Nathan for their first look, we had some untimely raindrops. After a few minute though, the rain slowed enough for these two to have their moment. I felt so honored to photograph this for them. It was like nothing else mattered in the world at that moment and it was just them wrapped up together.
After their first look, we spent the next bit of time doing bride and groom portraits before they went off to their church for the ceremony. Danae had a beautiful spring bouquet from Dayspring Flowers that complimented her lace wedding dress perfectly. Danae and Nathan had such a laid back attitude and were just so, so happy to be together. I absolutely loved it! We made the most of the drizzly rain and these two didn’t care one bit. It was such an honor and pleasure to be the one to capture the day they had waited for for so long for! You two, thank you for choosing me to capture your intimate wedding in Raleigh! I left your day feeling overjoyed and grateful for couples like you!
