One thing you won’t see in a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding is an exchange of vows. Because of that, this couple decided to exchange private vows before the ceremony to honor the bride’s culture in addition to the groom’s. So you’ll see a few pictures of that below! When the bride presented the idea to me, I thought it was such a special way to incorporate her tradition too!
After their two ceremonies, they made their way over to the most beautiful black and white ballroom reception. And I’m talking stunning!! Even The Black Tie Bride agreed with a beautiful feature of their own there! Just wait until you see the Ashley Cakes creation! One of my favorites ever!!
All of this is fun to photograph, but nothing will ever match how much I love this bride and her heart. She’s pure gold. Inside out. She’s kind, cares about others and genuine. I didn’t get to meet either of them before the wedding day, but based on our many phone conversations before, I knew I was going to love her! She was just as sweet in person as I imagined. And Alex is the perfect pairing to her golden heart. His love for her is unconditional. No doubt about it.
Mandy & Alex, thank you so much for letting us capture your wedding day. It was such a sweet day, that I’ll never forget. So thankful for couples like you in my life!
