2019 Photography Workshop

For Photographers

NC photography workshop for portrait and wedding photographers

I can’t believe I’m sitting here writing about my next NC Photography workshop. Didn’t we just have one? I know it’s so cliche, but where does the time go?

Hosting a workshop in the early part of the year is one of my favorite things to do. It starts my year on such a high. I absolutely love teaching, helping other women grow, and watching lightbulbs go off. I love that I have a hand in their success, and even more love watching them grow their businesses all year long because of the workshop. There is nothing more rewarding professionally in my opinion. Often times, I scroll through Instagram smiling from ear to ear because I’m so stinking proud of these women. Teaching them is truly a blessing, and I’m excited to do it again!

Every year we try to improve just a little more. Last year, we hosted at my house and it was such a success we’re doing that again! There’s something so very personal about having people in my home! We also reflect on what didn’t work, and one of those things was: there is such a thing as too many people. I found I wasn’t able to connect with each of them like I wanted. They connected with each other, which was amazing, but I didn’t connect with them as much as I’d like. Which is why, I’m limiting the seats to 12 plus one scholarship attendee (more on that in a sec).

We’re still keeping it women only (plus their husbands if they work as a team). It’s also still a two day event. My team and I sat down, both after the workshop and recently, trying to decide what we could cut to make it a one day workshop, and I just can’t do it. I believe in what I teach. I believe it’s what people need to hear. We’re reorganizing the content and structure a little this year (again growing from year to year), but the core of it remains. We’re giving these women the tools to take their business from where ever it is to the next level. This year is going to be the best year yet. I’m so excited I can’t stand it! It’s truly a privilege to be part of these photography journeys.

In fact, it’s such a privilege that I will be giving away a seat again this year! It was one of my favorite parts of the NC photography workshop last year. I watched the scholarship winner come in like a sponge, soak everything up, and have followed her work all year watching it get better and better and better. She was the perfect person to win it last year, and it makes me all that more excited for someone this year!

Tomorrow morning (Tuesday the 15th), I’ll be sharing details on Instagram about how to win the scholarship! My instagram handle is @ajdunlap…if we’re not already friends come say hi!

While you wait, check out the full workshop details HERE. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter while you’re there, because subscribers will get early access to the 12 seats (scholarship entries get first access a few hours before subscribers…a little extra incentive to apply) Last year it sold out in less than 24 hours, so if you want a seat, I highly recommend doing both!

I can’t wait for this year’s NC Photography workshop and to meet all of the beautiful attendees! We’re going to have the best time together!!

Hi, my husband and I are interested in attending your upcoming workshop. Can I ask, would the cost be $950.00 for each of us? Thank you.
