When it comes to workshop shoots, my goal is to teach the attendees how to pose, find good light, and be creative all on the fly. Because that’s how wedding days roll. The beautiful shoot itself is all an extra! Which is why I let the stylists go crazy with their vision. There aren’t many opportunities where we get to be entirely creative, so I try and extend that to them as much as possible for this shoot.
Cheryl-Anne of Kast Events & Co showed her true creative abilities with this one. Just wow. She blew me away! Handmaking the florals, styling everything from the beautiful tablescape to the floral covered vintage bicycle. She’s insanely talented and I’m so thankful she shared her skills with us for the workshop.
As were all the vendors who contributed their time and effort to this shoot. I’m so thankful to each and every one of them for making this what it was. Most of them donated their skills, and to me, it’s always so humbling when they share with my workshop like that. I’m truly, truly thankful.
It was such an honor to see this Sutherland Estate wedding shoot featured on Inspired By This earlier this summer. A beautiful feature for a beautiful editorial shoot.
I usually host a workshop in the early part of each year. If you’re interested in being first to hear about the next workshop, sign up HERE.
