One word: wow! Alex was absolutely stunning during her bridals at Emerald Isle wedding venue: The Watson House & Gardens. We just wrapped up her wedding there on Saturday, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a day, couple, venue more beautiful than theirs! The details went on for days, each one prettier than the last, and as you can tell Alex looked amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect.
A few weeks ago, I met Alex on Emerald Isle for her bridals. As I pulled into the parking lot, I was blown away by the magnificence of her venue. It was unlike anything I’d ever seen. A plantation home, on the water, with grounds and gardens in abundance, and historic charm. The full package. I didn’t think it could get any prettier until Alex walked down the stairs in her gown. The mermaid fit and ruffled bottom was perfect for Alex’s style. Combine that with her tussled curls, and her self-done makeup (did I mention she’s an amazing makeup artist?!!), and she would take anyone’s breath away.
I was so thankful to get some time at her venue before her wedding. It really helped me pull the day together in my mind and get even more excited for the big day! I can’t wait to share all the images from Saturday. Those will have to wait, but I did include a sneak peak of their portraits at the bottom because I just couldn’t help myself!
Alex & Dustin, we hope you’re enjoying every second of your honeymoon! Thanks for having us as part of your day, and trusting us to photograph such important memories! We can’t wait to show you all the pics!
