I have been looking forward to Emma & Nick’s Angus Barn wedding for so long! After I did their Raleigh engagement session over the summer, I knew their wedding was going to be a dream. Emma & Nick are incredible in front of the camera. Like real naturals! They are both actors, so that shouldn’t surprise you! They are a beautiful couple, but they have even more beautiful hearts. These two are so generous and kind, and would make any stranger feel like family. I am still so thrilled and honored that they chose me to be their Angus Barn wedding photographer!

Emma & Nick chose to do something extra special for their first look! It’s something I’ve been dying to photograph for a long time. They chose to combine their letter readings with their first look, and it was super sweet. Then before they saw each other, they stood back to back to read their letters out loud to each other. It was such a heartfelt moment and I was definitely tearing up behind my camera. If you’re a bride and you’re thinking about doing letters and a first look at your own wedding, I would really suggest this! You can hear your partner’s voice read their letter to you and you can hold their hand if you want. So, so sweet. After Emma & Nick read the letters, they turned around to see each other. It was priceless. And of course, I was crying even more behind my camera at that point!

These two really love each other. You can tell they have such a beautiful mutual respect and support for each other. They were an absolute joy to photograph! Their family and friends were also a blast to be around. I loved every second of their day! Not only that, but everything Emma designed for her day was stunning. Angus Barn Pavilion weddings are always dreamy. The Pavilion is warm and inviting, with the large stone fireplace and all the twinkle lights. On top of that, Emma chose beautiful florals and centerpieces for her reception tables. The draping and florals on the fireplace were the perfect spot for Emma & Nick to say their vows. My heart swells up with joy when I think about how grateful I am that I got to be their Angus Barn wedding photographer!
