February was a good month. We just got back from California last night around midnight, and I forced myself up at 9AM this morning so I’m not too far off from normal east coast time…but my head is still spinning : ) I’m hoping to get to bed at a normal hour tonight so I’m nice and fresh for tomorrow’s wedding! Besides an amazing trip out west, we had so much happen with our little business in this short month. We were honored to have 3 features in some pretty amazing wedding blogs, along with placing in a huge national image contest. It’s all a little surreal. I’m so grateful for such amazing couples who let me share their wedding days with other brides. It was one of my 2013 goals to get most of our weddings published. Not because I thought our work was better than anyone else’s, but because I knew that our couples’ put their heart and soul into their weddings and they deserved to be shared. So this is a thank you to you all, and a huge CONGRATS on putting together such lovely weddings.

First up was seriously a dream come true. Being published in Style Me Pretty (on any level) is something I’ve been working towards since I started my career. I knew Liz & John’s day would be the perfect wedding for them, and thankfully they agreed! 

Moe & Zach’s feature…ahhhhhh…such a love story! You have to go check their feature out just to read their story! It’s lovely!

My cousin’s wedding!!!! One of my favorites to date (yes, I’m a little biased), but seriously her Pacific Northwest day was stunning! I’m so honored to have it featured on Borrowed & Blue!

You’re probably wondering why I’m excited about getting 16th place. That sounds crazy, right? We entered several images into a nationwide contest of over 26,000 photos. To have even one in the top 20 in any category is amazing in my opinion, and we’re so happy it was this one! Even though I focus on weddings, this is one of  my favorite photos I’ve ever taken : ) I’d definitely recommend checking out the other winners which you can do by clicking the photo below! Thanks again to all of you, and congrats for having your days/baby featured : )
