These ladies. I am so grateful for each and everyone of them. It’s only been a year since I first met the ladies of C & D Events, but I love how our friendship and professional relationship has blossomed! So much so, that they are an integral part of the first Darling Wedding Workshop. Their vision is so stunning and so much more creative than anything I could ever dream up on my own.

So when Becca there contacted me about photographing a styled shoot I was all for it! The more she filled me in on the details, the more excited I became! She had this whole vintage vision in her head inspired by her great grandparents’ farm for an intimate elopement feel! The sweet story behind the prettiness was featured on The Perfect Palette last week! You have to go read it! It’s adorable and full of southern charm.

Becca assembled a dream team to make her vision come to reality. Greenhouse Picker Sisters might be my new obsession. They come from a whole line of vintage collectors and have stories about their grandparents’ picks that melded so perfectly into the shoot! Ashley Cakes is, of course, AMAZING! We see her work regularly at weddings, and may or may not have to sneak a piece of cake when she’s the artist! Loved catching dinner with you after the shoot girl : ) And Pine State Flowers, this was my first time working with them, but I’m so excited to hear they’re doing the flowers at one of my weddings this fall!!! They are one of only a handful of florists that only uses flowers grown here in the U.S.! HeartCommaJenna…I love this girl so much I have her working with me on some top secret projects this summer! I’m so glad Becca introduced us! Brides if you need any custom stationery, she’s your gal! Lastly, Melrose Knitting Mill, it’s a brand new venue in downtown Raleigh with so much rustic urban character and natural light I could bust! I think they’d going to do just fine in the wedding industry.
