We kicked off our fall wedding season with the sweetest couple. Everything about these two warms my heart. I’ll never forget Kristen greeting me with the biggest never ending hug when we got to her bridal suite!! Her joy was contagious and made me love photographing her day even more. She’s waited her whole life to marry the man of her dreams and nothing was going to stop her from having the best day possible! Joseph, is just as kind and good hearted, and was equally as happy to marry her as she was him. It was fun to watch these two start their forever.

With an impending 90 degree plus forecast, we were delightfully surprised with the cloud covering and slight breeze that turned their would be summer day back into the cooler NC fall temps that we all love. It made their Summerfield Farms wedding even more perfect than it already was! The team over at Tailored Occasions did a beautiful job of making all the pieces of this wedding puzzle fit and crafting the vision Kristen & Joseph always dreamed about!

My favorite part about this day was the sweet gift Joseph got Kristen.She had inherited a ring that her great grandfather had given to her great grandmother on their wedding day. The process of getting the antique ring repaired back to its original condition, so that it would be safe to wear, was so extensive that Kristen had yet to get it done. Joseph snuck the ring away, had all the repairs made, and gifted it to her on their wedding day exactly 90 years later.The whole room was in tears from the sweet sentiment of it, and I told Kyle it’s time he steps up his gift game, haha! But seriously, it was one of the most romantic gestures I’ve ever seen. It ties the time one of our grooms secretly recorded his proposal without telling his bride, and saved it to show her on their wedding day! These guys and their romantic hearts. I love it!!

Kristen & Joseph, thank you for letting us be part of your day! We wish you two all the happiness in the world, and hope that the pictures bring a smile to your face for the rest of your lives. Congratulations!!!
