With Stephanie’s wedding being a little more than a month out from her bridal session, we didn’t have a time to reschedule her session in Boone. So instead, Stephanie and her mom did a little research and came across the McAlister-Leftwich House. This new wedding venue recently opened in Greensboro, North Carolina and I was so excited to get to photograph Stephanie there. I had been dying to see it in person, and I was so thrilled that Stephanie chose the venue when we got rained out in Boone.
We had the best day together. Stephanie’s dress was one-of-a-kind and perfectly complimented her bubbly personality! Also, I should mention that she had a cape. A cape! So amazing. Stephanie had a destination wedding, and we were so honored that she asked us to photograph her bridal portraits. Bridal portraits are such a momentous part of wedding planning, and I was honored to capture them for her. Every bride should feel beautiful in her gown, and Stephanie looked stunning. The McAlister-Leftwich House perfectly showcased Stephanie’s bridal gown! Stephanie also brought her mother’s and grandmother’s bridal portraits to incorporate into her session, which I thought was so special.
To the ladies at McAlister-Leftwich, thank you for hosting us! The venue really is gorgeous. I hope to shoot a wedding there one day! We loved getting to see it in person finally. And when I say “we,” I mean myself and A.J.! She snuck in the car with me for Stephanie’s session haha! She was excited to see the McAlister-Leftwich House wedding venue herself, and so she capture a few images of the venue while I photographed Stephanie. It was pretty much the best day! Stephanie, you were a beautiful and exuberant bride. We are so happy for you!
