Oh Anna. Where do I even begin? You make me smile. You bring life and joy everywhere you go. Life would be so boring without you in it, and I’ve only known you for a few months! You are special. You are you, and that’s what I love the most. Matt, you’ve got a good one, and I know you know it. But just as lucky as you are to have her, she’s lucky to have you. The love you two share is strong.
Their day was full of so many moments we’ll never forget. From the very first moment when she opened Matt’s gift, I knew it was going to be a good one. He wrapped up a jewelry box with a note inside that said “get real, you just got earrings”, and with that the whole room errupted with laughter. Anna kept reading until the end when it said for her to check her videos on her phone. Matt had secretly taped their engagement over a year ago and never told her. She sat there sobbing, watching as he proposed to her, and we all watched her crying, crying ourselves at the sweetest gesture any of us have ever seen.
Then their first look. This is why we love first looks. They turned to each other, embraced, and didn’t let go for 5 minutes. It was raw, real, and beautiful. It’s going to be hard to top that moment.
The rest of their day was full of just as much love, laughter and tears as the first part, and we were so honored to have photographed it all for them. It was an emotional roller coaster of a day in the best way.
With all our hearts we wish you the best and happiest of marriages. You two are going to have an amazing life together. Congratulations!
