Dream come true. I don’t know how to say it other than that. Getting an email from SW, asking if I could photograph this Southern Weddings styled shoot for a blog editorial was a highlight of my career, and to say I was nervous as I showed up for this shoot was an understatement. This was a feature shoot to highlight one of their vendors, Sasha Nicholas, so the pressure was on, or at least I put it on myself. Regardless, I wanted these images to be perfect for all the vendors involved.

I had always heard about the WRAL Azalea Gardens, but this was my first time visiting. I get now why local Raleighians are obsessed with them! Those blooms were everything! Add in florals from the ever amazing Serendipity Designs and my pink loving heart was so happy. Stephanie Scholl Events did such an amazing job of pulling this vision together perfectly. Her attention to detail is amazing! She sees things in a way that my brain just doesn’t work!!!! I loved the linens she chose from CE Rentals, and all the paper details that Sage Paper Co created. I wanted to steal those chair signs!!!

The fun part of styled shoots like this one is that creativity soars from all the vendors. You get the best of everyone, because there’s no pressure and everyone’s excited to see the vision come to life. Plus an afternoon with industry friends is always good for the heart! SW thank you so much for asking me to capture this loveliness. It was truly and honor! Thank you to each one of these darling vendors for giving me pretty things to photograph.
