We spent the evening chatting about all their wedding plans coming together — from linens, to guest count, to cocktail hour, and flowers. So, so much goes into a wedding day to make it all happen. There’s a lot of thought that goes into both the design and the logistics of a wedding day! As a wedding photographer, I often just show up to the wedding day and see everything put together and ready. So I love getting the chance to chat with my couples about how planning is coming along and how they are feeling in anticipation for the big day. Engagement photos are the perfect opportunity for this.
I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again here. Engagement photos are an amazing way to get to know your wedding photographer, especially before the big day. It’s like a warm-up so that you can get comfortable in front of the camera before it’s wedding day and you’re both all dressed up in your wedding attire. Laura & Reid — thank you for choosing me to photograph not only your Wake Forest engagement session but more importantly, your upcoming wedding day. Your Melrose wedding is just around the corner, and I am so thrilled to photograph it for you!
