Last week on instagram I referred to winter light and how much we love it! This session is a great example of some morning winter light. It was a little big foggy out across the field when we got there. This gave a really cool effect to some of the pictures for the first part of the session. The soft light is so fun to shoot in compared to what can be a little harsher light during the summer. It’s also in a completely different part of the sky than in the summer. ( I’m not going to attempt to explain this part- just refer to your memory of 7th grade science and day light savings time haha) This means that I get to shoot in different areas, facing different directions than I typically do for a fall mini session in Wake Forest.
This particular morning was also freezing cold!!! Will didn’t love the temperature, but he was a trooper! He loved being held by mommy or daddy. We snuck in a few solo ones by adding one of his favorite toys to play with. His parents were rockstars and just went with the flow. They just rolled with what Will was comfortable with which always makes for a great session! We also had some airplanes fly overhead. Will gave some of the cutest expressions looking at those! Overall I could tell the three of them just loved being together. No matter what, if they are together as family then they are happy!
