The maternity portraits were a total bonus. We just so happened to be in town a month before her due date for this Asheville wedding, and I was able to talk her into letting me take a few maternity portraits! I think we were dealt the hottest and most humid day Asheville’s ever seen, but we still mustered through and got some super sweet film images.
With her older child, Scarlett, we were able to take portraits at four days new. I happened to be in town for this Biltmore engagement session, and it all fell into place perfectly that she had the baby before my visit there! This time, our plan was to wait a little longer. Thanks to weather and a few other factors, we ended up planning them for four days new again! I drove there and back in the same day, which was 100% worth it, and got to spend a few precious hours with brand new baby William.
He is the sweetest baby. Teeny tiny sprigs of what seems to be red hair like his dad! He slept practically through the entire session, only requiring little snacks here and there, and even letting us swaddle him in that giant blue bow without a peep!
Seldon & Mark, I know having me crash your newborn party with a 20 month old and a 4 day old wasn’t the most convenient thing we’ve ever done, but thank you! I’m so glad I was able to capture these for you guys again! Love you FOUR to pieces and more!
