I believe the photographer-client relationship is even more important than the images themselves. The more comfortable you are with me and the process, the more comfortable you'll be in front of my camera as your. My goal is to be 100% transparent and helpful, so if you ever have a question, please ask!

How does film work?
When I photograph on film, I send it off to our lab to be processed and they send me digital scans of your photos. I then edit those scans before showing you your gallery.

Is hair & makeup included?
Yes! Hair & makeup is included with all single sessions, and is included with one session per membership. 

Do you travel?
Please email me with your travel request, and I'll be happy to see if I can arrange it!

Are you insured?
Yes! I have 4 million in liability insurance!

Do sessions come with digital images?
The creative fee covers the session itself. Digital images are available for purchase during the design appointment. 

Do I have to order products?
Simple answer is no. You are welcome to walk away and not purchase anything. However, people generally choose me for the heirloom products I offer. I photograph with the end goal of creating heirloom pieces for your family.

How do I chose my heirloom pieces?
Before your session, we will have a planning meeting so we can talk through the options and make sure I'm photographing for your end goal. After your session, we will do a design and ordering appointment where you will choose your heirloom pieces.

Can I order products elsewhere?
All prints, canvases and albums must be ordered through AJDP to ensure quality control. The only exception is holiday & greeting cards.

How much are heirloom pieces? 
Most clients invest between $1200-$5000. I have a full look book with pricing I'd be happy to share upon request.

What is required for booking?
All sessions have a contract and non-refundable retainer.

What happens if it rains on my session day or my family gets sick?
Somedays I feel more like a meteorologist than photographer! I closely watch the weather and will be in touch if we need to reschedule! If a family member has an illness that would keep them from school or work, I will happily reschedule too!  I offer 30 days for reschedules if the need arises.

Is hair & makeup included? 
It is not included, but I will happily organize and facilitate it on your behalf if you'd like. No one has ever regretted having their hair & makeup professional styled!
