The biggest compliment is when a fellow wedding vendor asks you to photograph them. It’s so humbling, and I never take it for granted that they chose me. When Kristen of Ivory & Lace Events asked me to be her Holly Springs Newborn Photographer, I couldn’t have been more excited.

I met her a little over a year or so ago, and we instantly clicked. She had just moved back in the area, was trying to relocate her business for the second time, and wanted to meet some new people. She emailed asking if we could grab coffee and I instantly said yes. We sat and talked for the longest time about all things weddings and motherhood. The struggle and blessing of balancing it all. And dreaming about the future of our businesses.

We live almost an hour apart, so getting together isn’t always possible, but each time we do, we pick right back up! She has the biggest heart, and the most adorable kids! I loved stepping into her home and spending a morning photographing them all. Their daughter is the sweetest big sister. Showing every emotion on her face in the most adorable way possible. Their sweet new son is just as perfect as can be and fits right in with their bunch.

Kristen, thank you for letting me come into your home to photograph this special newborn stage. I loved capturing these all on film for you and am so grateful for our long distance friendship! Many congrats on becoming a mom again!
