This week I’m excited to write from the client’s perspective instead of the photographer’s!!  A.J. has graciously captured all of Cason’s milestones with pictures. She photographed Cason in his newborn days and also at the 6 month mark! The next natural milestone should have been 12 months. The one down fall to having an amazing photographer at your disposal is you have a hard time actually setting a date!! If I’m being completely honest, what made us finally get these done is A.J. said “I’m getting super pregnant and I won’t be squatting down to take these much longer, so it’s next week or July!!” So I got my act in gear, headed to Target to buy us all outfits (because who shops anywhere else?!) and we did it that week!

These special images were captured at the 16 month mark instead! Cason is at such a fun stage right now though, so I think we are all pretty happy we waited!  Also, who wants to go outside and do a photo shoot with a one-year old in January?!  We stayed in the area and used a park that we love and got some Wake Forest family photos!! I absolutely love coming to this park because it holds such great memories!! My mom and I walked the park the day I went into labor with Cason. Now every time I go there I think about that special time I had with my mom and then the amazing event that came later that night!!  It seems crazy that day was 16 months ago but at the same time, we can’t remember life without Cason!

Cason– you have grown into such a handsome, fun, opinionated, and all around amazing little boy! Your dad and I love the way you come charging at us to give the biggest hugs, are obsessed with making your toy truck sounds, and just have to carry around your green shovel all.the.time! We still can’t believe God picked us to be your parents are thankful for that every single day.  We love you more with each minute that passes and can’t wait to watch you keep growing up!!

A.J.– thank you so much for helping us freeze all of these fun stages through pictures!  We are forever grateful for the work and effort that goes into it and the gorgeous photos we get in return.  I’m so glad I get to give a little back now and do the same for your growing family!!
